Celebrate Halloween at Queens Zoo – Boo at the Zoo

Boo at the Zoo is the zoo’s yearly Halloween celebration. The animals will get fun treats, and you’ll enjoy face painting and crafting with your whole family. Plus, the zoo’s Haunted Trail is a fun way to get spooked.

Animal Exhibits

Some of the animals you’ll find at the zoo include tiny deer (called pudu), American bison, bald eagles, Andean bear, pronghorns, Canadian lynx, and more on the Animal Trail. You’ll also see domestic animals like Flemish giant rabbits, sheep, cows, and longhorns. Don’t forget the playful sea lions in the Sea Lion Pool!

You can visit the zoo and enjoy Halloween in Queens with general admission – adults 13 and older are $8, kids $5, seniors $6, and kids 2 and under receive free admission. Tickets can be purchased in advance online or when you arrive at the gate.

Coffee lovers and aficionados: Get ready for the New York Coffee Festival, a three-day event featuring food, music, art, and, of course, lots and lots of coffee.

The event is set for Friday – Sunday, October 13-15, 2017 at Metropolitan Pavilion. Sessions will be held at different times each day.

On Friday, attend the afternoon trade session starting at 2 p.m. On Saturday, there will be morning, afternoon, and late sessions starting at 9:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. On Sunday, the morning session is scheduled at 9:30 a.m., while the afternoon event will start at 1:00 p.m.

All proceeds from this coffee lover’s event will go toward Project Waterfall. This initiative is all about helping people in developing countries get safe drinking water.
